Homecoming Gallery is thrilled to present All Fours, a group exhibition named after Miranda July’s latest book. Featuring a selection of our favourite contemporary artists -all women- this show delves into themes of identity, the psyche, gender, and eroticism. Subjects that -especially for women- are often so deeply interlinked, they’re nearly impossible to untangle. We want to do them right.

Similarly to July’s book, each artist in this show explores these themes not through pigeonholing or grand statements of taboo-breaking, but in a raw, nonlinear, and deeply human way. With a tone of self-irony that can only stem from lived experiences, these works share a unique power born from a vulnerability and openness that requires no justification – a quality most often found in women and one that can’t be celebrated enough. No shame, no blame, no covering or uncovering. It just is – pure and unapologetic.
