“A lot has changed in the past few years,” says Derrick Ofosu Boateng about people’s perceptions of Africa. The young artist from Ghana uses colorful photographs to portray the African continent in a positive light. “Many people, from art collectors to enthusiasts, come to me and say I’ve changed their perception of the continent for the better. This makes me happy.”
With his unique approach to photography and the use of color therapy, Boateng is able to not only capture the beauty of Africa but also spread a message of understanding and acceptance.
