Alex’s practice is rooted in highly personal documentary photography, working on projects spanning years. His wife Zhiyu and son both inform a growing body of work next to the recently presented Chinese Wonderland showcasing the face of a modern China in dialogue with its traditions and customs. Alongside his personal work, Alex mostly works in the fashion space.
Lulendo Family is part of his fashion project about family, ‘one of the most important themes of creation’, as Alex describes it.
