Lydia Roberts (b. 1994, England) lives and works in the South of France. Her practice focuses on the human form, approached with a distinct playful curiosity and an eye for the otherworldly -just out of reach of the ordinary and with a timeless quality, even when the circumstances are entirely of the moment. More than documenting, she is interested in what photography itself can hold, driven by an instinct to respond to wherever she finds herself. Her work has been exhibited across Europe and published in the New York Times, T Magazine China, and the Journal du Dimanche. Selected collaborations include Polydor Records and Thames & Hudson.
