Homecoming Gallery proudly presents Connected Bodies, a duo exhibition showcasing the works of Los Angeles artist Mia Weiner and Amsterdam-based Johnny Mae Hauser, following Mia Weiner’s solo exhibition at Unseen. Where Mia Weiner’s photography-based tapestries focus on the subject of agency of the female body, from an art historian, modern societal and personal viewpoint, Johnny Mae Hauser’s latest series is a raw exploration of emotions experienced through connecting bodies, lineage and relationships – a dialogue of meta-reflections and pure unprocessed expressions.
