Tagreed Darghouth

Tagreed Darghouth (b. 1979, Beirut) lives and works in Dubai. Trained in Beirut and Paris - including studies under Syrian-German artist Marwan Kassab Bachi at Darat Al Funun- her paintings move between figuration and abstraction with gestural confidence, exploring conflict, perception, and the instability of images under the weight of political and social upheaval. Her work has been exhibited at the Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris; Taymour Grahne Gallery, New York; and Rose Issa Projects, London, among others.
